Yes — it's out now on the App Store for iPhone.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Ride recording and pass detection work offline. Apple Maps needs a connection for map areas that are not cached; driving ETAs also need a connection. Your rides sync through iCloud when you reconnect.
Which passes are included?
9,000+ mountain passes worldwide — from the Alps to the Carpathians, Pyrenees, Rockies, and beyond. All free to browse.
Do I need Pro?
No. Free includes ride recording, automatic pass detection during rides, browsing, visit photos, posters and achievements. Pro adds live pass discovery, trips, the full timeline, ride photos, a bucket list, GPX import and export, Apple Health import, and Siri Shortcuts.
How is my location used?
Your iPhone processes location to detect crossings and record rides. Rides and visits sync through your private iCloud account. We never sell your location.
Which devices are supported?
Mountain Passes is an iPhone app: auto-logging, ride recording, the map, posters and achievements all live on your iPhone. Your data syncs through iCloud, so a new iPhone picks up your whole collection.
